Piers Cunliffe recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in
Documentary Photography (2009) from the University of Wales, Newport. Born and
bred in Bath, he studied GCSE's and A levels at King Edward's School attaining four
A's in Photography, Art, Design Technology and Sport Science.
Piers’ strengths lie in landscape and portraiture photography, but he is willing to explore new techniques and subjects. He has mastered traditional black and white printing as well as digital. He greatly enjoys exhibiting and recently took a central role in coordinating the graduate show in London. His immediate aim for the summer of 2009 is to travel with his camera and rock shoes as his passion, alongside photography is rock climbing. He loves the lifestyle and adventure that rock climbing brings: “I have met many interesting people on my travels and hope to continue to climb with them”. He also enjoys other sports such as Windsurfing, Cycling, Hockey and Cricket.
